Installing Windows XP Driver for Mini HP 2133 Laptop
Below some instruction for installing Windows XP for HP 2133 mini notebooks,
1. Booting your computer, press F9 and change BIOS setting (make it sure that you can boot from CD/ DVD Drive).
2. Install Windows XP.
- After success installing xp, below some important driver for hp 2133 mini notebook.
a. Broadcom Ethernet Driver
after installing Broadcom driver, you can go to Windows Update and installing hardware driver in the list.
b. Download KB888111 patch for HP 2133 Laptop
c. Download Vista Sound Drivers, actually this driver available for Windows Vista but you can installing this sound driver for your HP 2133, Unzip the package, go to Device Manager double check for unknown (“?”) sound driversand locate to your unzipped Vista Sound Drivers.
d. HP Quick Launch Buttons, when you install the driver ignore the popups,
- Follow this instruction for turning off smax4pnp
Go to Start Button -> Run -> msconfig -> Startup(right tab) -> turning off the “smax4pnp”.
Rbooting and you’ll get Windows XP on HP 2133 mini Laptop.
